The Kawartha Rock & Fossil Club
Located in Beautiful Peterborough, Ontario
The rock swap will be held in the Coliseum on the Norwood Fairgrounds in Norwood, a 2 day event, 10 am to 4 pm both days. The Coliseum is a large building, 14,000 sq ft., that is home to music festivals, auction sales, dog shows, cattle shows etc. It is located on the Norwood Fairgrounds, which is a 18 acre property with numerus exhibition buildings, barns, outdoor show rings, huge green areas and large parking areas.
As we are paying a rental fee for the building, we are charging a small fee to the swappers. If you are able to supply your own table(s), the fee to set up is $10.00. Or you can rent tables through us, at a cost of $25.00 each. We will not be charging the $10.00 fee if you are renting tables. If you are suppling your own tables, you must let me know how much space you need. As the Coliseum is a secure building, leaving your booth set up over night is encouraged.
Material that is allowed to be sold, traded, displayed, etc., must be rocks, minerals, fossils, collecting equipment, lapidary equipment, mining memorabilia, any anything directly related.
Admission to the public to attend is free!
